17 Things You'll Actually Want To Buy On Amazon Prime

It Was All A Dream Neon Sign
It Was All A Dream Neon Sign from Amazon Prime“It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up! Magazine…” Amazon is a really good place to buy inexpensive neon signs and they make really good home decor. I have this It Was All A Dream Neon Sign in my bedroom to use at night instead of bright lights or candles.  $132 on Amazon.

Clear Acrylic Riser
This seems like a strange thing to purchase, but I am so glad I did. I primarily work/write/design on a Macbook, which gets really hot on my lap. This Clear Acrylic Riser on Amazon protects my legs from the heat of my laptop and gives me a flat surface to work on. I also use it as a surface for journaling, eating, photo styling (as a riser), monitor stand if I’m at my desk, etc.  $38 on Amazon.

mDesign Square Facial Tissue Box Cover
I HATE TISSUE BOXS. They are all SO UGLY; with weird patterns and colors that never go with my decor. I spent years being annoyed about the ugly floral print until I took the plunge and bought a tissue box cover. I never knew this was something I needed in my life, but I really, really did. I have them in every room in my house. $20 on Amazon.

Marathon LED Alarm Clock with USB Ports
I have two of these in our bedroom and they are GREAT. They’re modern looking and low profile, plus TWO USB PORTS!!! It also has an alarm clock, but who uses those?  $30 on Amazon.

nuLOOM Venice Collection Wool Moroccan Area Rug
Becca Risa Luna Home Office Fashion PugI love, love, love this rug. It adds a layer of warmth and texture into my office. I was a bit nervous to purchase it with all the negative reviews: it does shed, a lot. There are usually little furballs of wool floating around my house, but I have a dog so it’s not that much different. This rug looks way more expensive then what I paid for it. I have the 5″ x 8″ size for my office. $165 on Amazon.

Kitchen

Nordic Kitchen 3-piece Silicone Spatula
This Nordic Kitchen spatula set is made with non-toxic, FDA approved, food grade silicone, and they are really, really high quality for their price. I really like the look of these and they feel nice in your hand. Get these for yourself or as a housewarming gift. $11.99 on Amazon.

Aerolatte Milk Frother

Delicate coffeehouse style foam at home? Yes, please. I bought this Aerolatte Milk Frother on a whim one night and haven’t looked back since. I use it to froth milk for coffee or to make whipped cream. It works best with whole milk, because fat froths better, but I’ve also used it with coconut milk for a similar effect. $18 on Amazon.

Set of 4 Stainless Steel Mini Tongs, 7″ Size

I love miniature things, and these are my favorite addition to my kitchen. These are light and comfortable to use. I use these for turning food when cooking, serving stuff. They do anything that regular tongs might do, but mini!  $13 on Amazon.

Fashion

14k White Gold Huggie Hoop Earrings

Tiny silver hoop earringsThese tiny 14k White Gold Huggie Earrings are so goddamn cute.  I wanted something small for my ears that were easy to clasp and to leave in 24/7. I’ve never had them come out of my ears and they don’t bother my sensitive skin at all. $34 on Amazon.

Coffee Heart Enamel Pin
Just the cutest lil coffee enamel pin I ever saw. It lives on my black denim jacket and I am in love with it. I’ve gotten dozens of compliments on this pin so now I’m sharing it with you, so you can add this to your collection.   $9.99 on Amazon.

Copper Safety Pin Keyring
This lightweight key ring is just a little punk rock while also being super functional. I wanted something easy and stylish for my keys and this copper safety pin key ring satisfies that need. $9.99 on Amazon.

Ring Light
Are you a blogger, vlogger, or just want to take some nice photos? Lighting is your best friend. It doesn’t matter what kind of camera you are using if you have good light. This is the ring light I use at my house for selfies, flat lays, or anything that requires extra light. It’s really, really bright but it helps a lot. $60 on Amazon.

Health

You Plus Relief by The Feel Good Lab

It’s rare that I purchase the same product more than once unless I really, really love it. I’m on my second tube of this stuff. You could purchase each of the 30 ingredients packed into our powerful formula. But besides the hit to your wallet, you’d never be able conveniently to use them all. That’s why You Plus Relief includes all the essential natural ingredients and it smells nice 🙂 $29 on Amazon.

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
I’ve been putting a scoop of Vital Protein Collagen Peptides in my coffee or smoothies for the last few months and have noticed my nails getting strong and my hair getting a little thicker. I’m not sure if that’s because of the collagen, but whatever. Collagen is the protein that our body relies on to ensure the health and vitality of our skin, hair, tendon, cartilage, bones, and joints. Everything that connects our body, keeping skin tone and joints strong, needs collagen. $27 on Amazon.

Random Stuff

Cards Against Humanity
If you don’t have this game, you’re missing out. It’s full of LOLs and makes a great party game. Full disclosure: sometimes when I need to laugh, I pull these cards out and play by myself. It can be pretty inappropriate sometimes, so if you’re sensitive don’t buy it). $20 on Amazon.

AmazonBasics Dog Waste Bags
20 rolls of doggy bags for $9, plus a dog bag holder for your leash? I used to buy these at Target for an arm and a leg, but now I’m stocked up for a while. Thank you Amazon.

BAAPET Dog Leash with Comfortable Padded Handle
This heavy duty leash caught my eye because of its reflective threads and comfort handle. It’s made of 1/2 inch diameter rock climbing rope with a durable metal clip hook. $10 on Amazon.

I recently was approved for the Amazon Affiliate program, which means that I could make a very small profit if you click on any of these links and buy things. This is a big accomplishment for me as a blogger, so I encourage you to click on them so I can become a full-time blogger (lolz).

I live in Seattle and therefore Amazon is a local company that employees thousands of people in the city. They have taken my dreary city and turned it into a booming tech mecca (with sky-rocketing home prices but that’s a story for another time).

Should we boycott Amazon because they pay unfair wages and because Jeff Bezos is the richest man in the world? I don’t know. This isn’t about that. Just buy some stuff. It’s easy.

  1. I’m in love with that neon sign and that keyring!! The neon sign looks like it would make any bedroom look magical, and I’ve been looking for a keyring that isn’t a damn ball of fluff and not too bulky to put my keys on and that one is so cute!! x
