Case Study: Email Creative Strategy

For the luxury clientele of Yoogi’s Closet, image is everything.

I approached email campaigns with the objective of creating clean, bright campaigns that get clients excited about specific products that their customer, the luxury deal hunter, really wants. The luxury deal hunter cares deeply about products but also wants a good deal. There’s a balance between providing value in the content and highlighting the low prices that Yoogi’s Closet offered. It’s a long sales process to convince customers to spend thousands of dollars.

In my role, I managed email marketing strategy for transactional automated email series, custom specials, and integrated campaigns. I came up with strategy, conceptualized the design, selected the merchandise and imagery, wrote the copy, and then designed the campaigns.

Results

With my holistic view of onsite merchandise and email, Yoogi’s Closet emails brought in an average order value of $1,200 and 10% increase in revenue year over year.
